After breakfast, embark on an exciting cruise to the Dobanke Watch Tower within the Sunderban Tiger Reserve Forest, navigating through creeks, dense forests, and numerous rivers. Enjoy breakfast onboard before experiencing the thrilling canopy walk and visiting the spotted deer rehabilitation center. Cruise back through Matla – Sea Face, where the Bay of Bengal is visible, and return to Sunderban Tiger Camp for lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat trip to Pakhiralay Island, located about half an hour from the resort. The evening features a cultural show, Bonbibi Yatra, a local theatre performance depicting the story of the forest goddess and the tiger lord with songs and dances by villagers. Dinner and overnight stay at Tiger Camp.
After breakfast at the Fisherman’s Wharf Restaurant, depart for the Netidopani Watch Tower deep within the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve. This site features a 300-year-old temple dedicated to ‘Bono Bibi,’ the Forest Goddess worshipped by local fishermen and honey collectors for protection from tigers and crocodiles. Enjoy a hot lunch onboard as you cruise back to the resort. In the evening, attend Bonobibi Yatra, a local theatre performance in Bengali by the villagers, depicting the story of the Tiger Lord, Forest Goddesses, and local life with captivating songs and dances. End the day with a hearty meal at the reserve.
After breakfast, embark on a morning cruise through the Sunderban Tiger Reserve, heading to the Sudhayakhali Watchtower. Walk through caged pathways, searching for the elusive tiger and observing a sweet water pond where deer, water monitor lizards, monkeys, and wild boars may be spotted. Cruise back to Sunderban Tiger Camp for an early lunch before being transferred to Gothkhali. From Gothkhali, return by vehicle to Kolkata Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
